Halo Infinite starts you off with 17 multiplayer modes by default, but if you launch the game with Steam set in offline mode, you end up with 14 more hidden modes. Here’s the kicker: These aren’t just variations of current maps. There’s an entire new game mode called Attrition where each team has a limited pool of respawns, and you can win by draining them. Elimination, a variation of the Attrition mode, has CS style no-respawning across multiple rounds. There’s Tactical Slayer, which is Halo Infinite’s version of SWAT, with no shields or radar. The company hasn’t officially announced these modes yet, so we don’t know how long they’ll be accessible using this hidden trick.
