Sister Wives stars purchased 12-acre property in 2018 In 2018, the Brown family made a huge move. Kody and his four wives, plus their combined young children, moved from Nevada to Arizona. In the same year, the plural family purchased 12-acres of land to build their home on. Kody’s original plan was to build one large home for all of his wives and children. However, the plan changed to individual homes for each of his four wives. The massive plot of land sat vacant until earlier this year when Janelle Brown set up an RV on the property. Due to inclement weather, she no longer lives in the RV, but vows to return to RV living in the Spring. Meanwhile, on a recent episode of the TLC show, the plural family divided up the land into lots, where the individual homes will be built.
